Chapter 1 / Sharing Stories
A Hawai 'i Summer Story
Our latest Chapter III campaign – "A Hawai 'i Summer Story" – highlights the ocean’s beauty, our relationship with nature, and the versatility of OCIN pieces for in and out of the water. From sunrise to sundown, we wanted to highlight the magic found in the simple moments at the beach: the changing of the light, the shifting of the tides, the sound of the waves, the feeling of water and sand against your skin, the wonderment and curiosity from nature's treasures (shells, seaweed, animals) that you discover around you...
We are so extremely grateful for the opportunity to shoot on and celebrate the beautiful islands of Hawai 'I, on O 'ahu. It's our home away from home and one of the places in the world that we find truly magical: the people, the culture, the landscape, the water – everything that surrounds you makes you appreciate so much and inspires perspective. There is a symbiosis with the people and the planet here that is humbling and generously offers an opportunity to dig deeper about your connection and impact on the things you touch and the choices you make.
We are honored for the chance to showcase Hawai 'i through our lens, with the help of some of our incredibly talented friends and locals. This campaign is a dedication and a love letter to one of the most beautiful places we find constant solace and inspiration. We hope that with the recent devastating fires that impacted the entire Hawaiian community, all of this is a reminder to be conscious, kind, caring, and considerate as visitors of these special islands, but also as visitors of this Earth and Home we all share. We hope this is all a reminder to treat each other with respect and love and to care for and protect the greater us – from the animals, to our fellow humans, to the oceans and this one planet we live on: we are one and we need each other.
