No matter how much we open ourselves up to growth and learning, the beautiful thing about this practice is that there are always more opportunities to keep growing, to keep learning.

As we enter a new year, we remind ourselves that this journey doesn’t restart, reset, or stop. It continues forward and keeps going. 

We build upon our foundation as individuals and as a collective. We continue challenging perspectives (both ours and those around us), having intentional conversations that gets to the deepest parts of us, and listening to dialogue that promotes thought and encourages the space to evolve — mindfully, physically, spiritually, soulfully, energetically. 

Like last year and the year before and on and on, every day brings new experiences. New lessons, skills, practices, and passions. New relationships and stronger connections with your community. New interactions with the wave of the future. New reflections on how the past informs and bridges with the present. New contemplations on the here and now. 

So, remember that although a new year establishes a fresh milestone point in time for many of us, you haven’t stopped. Your journey as it’s been evolving, keeps building, keeps adapting and impacting. 

Time moves forward and us, along with it. We don’t stop. We don’t reset. We learn from our mistakes and our failures. We celebrate our milestones and accomplishments. And we inspire. We create and express. We dig into purpose. We empower and uplift. We rest and reflect. We live. 

Like the ecosystem underwater, things shift everyday and a new year doesn’t magically change things overnight. But, with openness, trust, compassion, respect, humility, gratitude, and an everlasting commitment to learn and evolve, we focus instead on the collective. On the hope of inspiring a symbiotic nature between people and planet that continues to propel and encourage, not just today, or tomorrow, but everyday after that we get the privilege to spend here on Earth.
